Projects
Projects pull schools together and the more people involved the better, from the children through to all the people who work in the school. We’ve even had the local lollipop man involved in one project. Everyone shares the big experience – everyone walks by the piece of work they have made and you have displayed thinking ‘I did that bit there!’
All big projects start with a workshop so that everyone gets a good, full-blown art experience and not just a token gesture on the finished piece. Our job is to pull it together and to turn it into something. If possible we want the whole process to be visible, from varnishing to sawing and putting up the final work. We want the children to see all of what their art project is about, even the parts that they can’t do themselves.
You will see from the photographs that every school gets something different, something unique, even with the same initial starting point as another school.
We have lots of ideas just waiting to be realised by someone making a phone call and saying that they want something, but they don’t know what. We can help, we can think of your something for you.
