Course Details Booking Details
In addition to the educational work we provide, Briony and Judy also run short mosaic courses - Briony from her base in Scotland and Judy from her base in London. At the end of each course you will take away one or more finished pieces of work (as specified in individual course details) and the confidence to continue projects independently.
- Lunch and light refreshments are included in the prices for all courses, as are materials.
- To make a booking, please download a booking form and post with a non-refundable, 10% deposit.
- All full day courses run from 9.30am to 5.00pm
Course details
Courses vary depending on skill levels. Finished products range from table tiles and runners, plant pots and small panels to table tops and large panels. You can make garden stepping stones, garden wall panels, bird baths and decorative objects.
We can run courses on request for a group of friends, working at weekends, during school holidays or to suit your own particular dates.
Below are some examples of the longer and larger courses and prices: Other courses are priced accordingly and can be discussed in person with Briony and Judy.
- Making a Table-Top:
(3 days), 4 places.
- The opportunity to make a table-top for indoors or outdoors using mosaic tesserae. We will be using the direct or indirect techniques as appropriate to your individual work.
- Stepping Stones:
(2 days), 4 places.
- Stepping stones for the garden - the time should allow for two stepping stones to be made using the indirect method, from which you should be confident enough to continue when the course is over.
- Wall Panels:
(3 days), 3 places.
- Working on a larger scale to make an interior wall panel using the direct method.
