2pm-5pm, Saturday 30th May 09 – Nairn Community Centre

illustration seminar

Briony Jenkins is having 2 afternoon seminars (date to follow for the second seminar) for artists interested in working as illustrators. Each seminar will focus on generating a discussion to share experiences in the illustration field. The questions she will cover include:

  • How to get started as an illustrator
  • How to promote yourself
  • To use an agent or not
  • Presentation of your work
  • What happens once you get a commission?
  • What fees to charge for your work?

“I’ll be talking about my own experiences as an illustrator and what has happened since plus there will be the opportunity to share work with the group. The seminar aims to inspire you, renew your enthusiasm and put you in touch with other artists.” – Briony
